The why behind Remi.

Founded in 2025, Remi was born from a simple observation: paying utility bills across Africa was unnecessarily complicated, time-consuming and often unreliable. Our founders had lived those problems first-hand, and set out to change how people manage the payments that keep a home running.

Starting with three utility providers in Nigeria, we now support hundreds of providers across 25+ African markets, processing millions of transactions every month for households and businesses.

Today Remi is the bridge between traditional utility providers and modern digital expectations.
